Chord recognition and voicing engine
The engine detects over 30 complex chord types in real time from MIDI input and translates them into realistic voicings across the fretboard. Each chord includes up to 4 variations, allowing natural progression and stylistic diversity. You can also assign your own voicings using the chord editor and save them for later use.
Legato & Glissando with real performance logic
Legato transitions (hammer-on/pull-off) and glissando slides are chosen based on the context — note direction, timing, velocity, and finger position. Glissandi use custom-recorded slides per fret and tempo, with automatic or manual triggering. All transitions preserve realism by avoiding impossible fingerings or jumps across strings. It feels and sounds like a real guitarist.
Repetition keys
Dedicated keys repeat the last played note or chord with subtle variations in timing and attack. Ideal for fast strums, tremolos, or rhythmic pulses. Repetition behavior adapts to the recently used articulation . Strum speed and direction (up/down) are fully customizable.
FX & noises
The instrument includes layered noise samples like pick attacks, fret scratches, breathing, and release sounds — each individually adjustable. You can control their volume, randomness, and decay to fine-tune realism or remove them entirely. Manual FX like slides, resonance hits, and chord FX add further control for expressive performance.
Double-track
Simulate two guitars playing together with one click. Adjustable delay and stereo spread make your part sound wider and more natural — perfect for pop, rock, and cinematic layering. Works seamlessly in both solo and strum modes. Adds depth without needing to duplicate MIDI or render extra tracks.
Pattern-based strumming
The included Strum patch features 250+ editable rhythm patterns grouped by style. You can create your own grooves in a visual grid editor with full control over timing, articulation, and bar length. Patterns can be chained into 20-step songs and switched in real time. Fast, flexible, and great for building full arrangements quickly.
Chord editor
Design any voicing, from standard open chords to jazz clusters with muted strings. Each chord supports manual assignment of bass notes, muting, and finger positions. You can save full custom chord sets per project or globally. Great for adapting the guitar to non-standard tunings or harmonic language.
Strum time control
Fine-tune the delay between string hits during a strum to match your rhythm. Separate settings for fast and slow strums allow detailed customization, including velocity-sensitive behavior. Whether you want tight funk chops or loose acoustic swirls, the strum engine adapts accordingly. Adds groove without MIDI editing.
…and everything else you’d expect
From stereo width control to swing feel, from latch and mute modes to song sequencing — everything is designed to make your guitar parts sound and feel alive. You get import/export for patterns and styles, negative track offsets for perfect DAW sync, and compatibility with all major workflows. Whether you’re scoring, songwriting, or performing — the Acoustic Guitar gives you everything you need, right where you need it.
