Authentic Armenian Character
This is a real duduk, recorded with care to preserve its deeply expressive, human tone. From the breathy low register to the slightly buzzing top end, every note carries the unmistakable sound of Armenia — intimate, emotional, and timeless.
15 articulations, from lyrical to ornamental
Includes five mordents, forshlag, slide-up, and three additional ornaments, all recorded in a stylistically authentic way. These articulations feel integrated and musical, letting you add detail and cultural nuance to melodic lines without breaking the flow.
Legato with Articulation Memory
A smart performance engine automatically triggers legato transitions when notes are played connected, keeping phrasing natural and smooth. The first note can carry any articulation you choose — vibrato, crescendo, expression — while the following notes transition seamlessly with real legato behavior.

Extended Range, Still Natural
The playable range extends slightly beyond that of a traditional duduk, from E2 to B3. Even with the artificial extension, the tone remains coherent and warm throughout, allowing more flexibility without compromising authenticity.
Two types of release
The library features both a standard breath-based release and the more expressive “bird” release — a fluttering ornament often used by Armenian players at the end of phrases. You can switch between the two depending on context: use the normal release for smooth, neutral phrasing, or the bird release for something more expressive and raw. This gives you fine control over how each note ends, especially in emotional or solo material.
Custom mapping of keyswitches and MIDI CCs
Adapt the interface to your workflow using an intuitive system that allows quick reassignment and preset saving.
Natural dynamics and vibrato that breathe
The duduk responds smoothly to dynamic shaping — from soft, airy tones to rich, full-bodied phrases. The transitions feel organic, not layered or mechanical, allowing you to shape intensity and emotion in real time. This makes the instrument feel alive under your hands, whether in subtle underscore or expressive lead lines.
